I've an old soundblaster live 24-bit so I connected to the system, installed a custom driver (there is no driver for win7 64bit from creative), and now I've a similiar problem but not quite the same. So I gess, by changing something in Asio4all config it just resets, so I imagine that's something wrong/uncompatible between Asio4all and my system (soundcard, cpu.).Ī few days ago I decided to test something. If I just change something in Asio4all settings (no matter what) the noise goes away and I get perfect sound again. Like most of you I get some (variable) few minutes of perfect sound and then the noise begins. I use Asio4all, GR5, an Alexis guitar link (USB) and my sound card is a Realtek HD on-board. But in any case, it is great, isn't it? Rock on! I guess this would be an incentive for them to fix any issue.

I mentioned Rocksmith provides them a potential market of one million guitar and bass players that have a ready to use guitar to USB hardware. If I get any response from Native Instruments support I will post it here. I am still having some intermitent noise, I hope this does not happen to you and I am suspicious that different sound cards will produce different results. You are my rocksmith hero of the year!Īnswer: Hey, thanks. Without the proper configuration and very little faith, as I had been told my a musician friend of mine, that it wouldn't work without additional hardware.Īs I read the thread I was ver skeptical, but after using you configuration and turning of the mike on creative sound card config, voilá, guitar on my PC. I had tried and failed it a few months ago.

I just registered in this forum with the only purpose of THANKING YOU for showing me how to use Guitar Rig 5 with Rocksmith cable. Here is a post and answer from the Rocksmith forum: Rocksmith guys are loving Guitar Rig, by the way. Doesn't Guitar Rig have its own Asio driver I can use? So it is most certainly an Asio4All, or a Realtek Audio HD card or driver issue. I also installed Amplitube on my main laptop, and the same issue happens. I installed GR5 on another cheaper laptop, a Brazilian CCE i5, and it works perfectly. Well, no solution yet, but I have some additional information. I don't even need to plug my Rocksmith cable into the laptop for this to happen. I can just load an mp3 into the tape deck and let it roll for a few minutes. Actually, I don't need to be playing in order for the noises to appear. The sound card is a Realtek HD audio card.

I am using an i7 Dell laptop, with 8GB of memory, Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits, fully updated, Guitar Player 5, Asio4All 2.11 beta, and Rocksmith Real Tone cable to plug my guitar to the computer. This is a deal breaker for me, since I intend to use Guitar Rig in live performances and I cannot have noises starting in the middle of a song. If I open the Asio4All configuration panel and do anything on that interface, the noises go away, but after a few minutes they come back.

I definitely intend to get the PRO version, but there is only one small issue preventing me from doing that.Īfter a few minutes of Guitar Player use, I start hearing noises of crackles. I found it so fantastic that I sarted a new thread on Rocksmith official guitar forum recommending it as the best practice tool ever (Rocksmith players is a market of at least ONE MILLION guitar and bass players that already own a USB guitar interface!).

I learned about Guitar Rig on Rocksmith forum, and I got the free Guitar Rig Player 5 and Asio4All driver. Hello, I'm new to Guitar Rig, and this is my first post.
